Our jewelweed soap is made with jewelweed tea, with a light lavender, lemongrass, and cedarwood scent.

Jewelweed has a long history of use in Native American treatments. When applied topically, sap from the stem and leaves is said to relieve itching and pain from a variety of ailments, including hives, poison ivy, oak, and sumac, stinging nettle, and other skin irritations. The orange flowers of jewelweed makes it a great pollinator plant for hummingbirds, butterflies, and of course bees!

Our soap is made using the old-fashioned cold process method; mixing a blend of vegetable oils with spring water and lye, and finishing it off by adding our own beeswax and honey from our beehives here at Honeyrun Farm. Honey is a natural humectant and draws moisture to your skin. Our soap bars are 3.8 ounces.
