A note from the Barnes family regarding the previous blog post sent via email.

Jayne Barnes

You may have received an email from us with a blog post titled: “Is Honey Good for Weight Loss.” We did not write that blog post, nor did we see or approve of that post before it was posted to our website. We apologize if you found the content confusing and atypical of our blogs.

We recently started working with a professional web design company to help us optimize our website and improve search engine rankings. They posted that blog in an attempt to generate informative material about honey, and since we were not made aware that they were posting this information, we did not have a chance to review the material before it was sent out.

We would like to make a few things clear.

  1. Although we do believe that honey has amazing qualities and benefits, we make no claim of our honey being medicinal. If we include information in our blogs regarding benefits seen from honey use we would be certain to also include reputable scientific source of that information.

  2. It is never our intent to market our honey as a “miracle cure” to any sort of ailment. We have a commitment to providing the best quality products we can produce, and we do not resort to gimmicky advertising claims to sway our readers or customers to purchase our products.

Please accept our sincere apology that this sort of advertising was sent via email. The blog post has since been deleted. While it wasn’t entirely inaccurate advertising regarding honey in general, it is not representative of who Isaac and I are as business owners, beekeepers, community members, and entrepreneurs. Our style has always been to connect with customers in a more direct and meaningful way. We all get enough spam and “fluff” advertising in our lives, trying to convince us to latch on to the next best thing. We don’t want to contribute to that sort of environment or culture in regards to our farm, our family, and our customers. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We have discontinued our relationship with the web design company and I assure you, the blog will only contain content directly from our farm-Isaac and Jayne- in the future.
